"Lighted Pathways" is the Children's Church curriculum we use at Lakewood Church in Houston, Texas. It has been developed and successfully taught since 1986. I am the Children's Ministry Director at Lakewood Church. In my experience of working in the Children's Ministry since 1974, I have discovered that there is a need for anointed teachers to teach the lesson from their hearts and not from their heads.
"Lighted Pathways" was developed for teachers who have busy lifestyles. The scripture references are written out so they can read them frequently without having to look them up. When the teachers meditate on these scriptures, the Holy Spirit will inspire them with the unique direction He desires to go for their class.
"Lighted Pathways" gives you creative ideas to visually teach the children through puppets, object lessons, chalk talks, flannelgraph, drama, costumed characters, or storytelling.
